Creative Needle, published six times a year, is a magazine which appeals to the woman who loves heirloom sewing as well as stitching by machine.

Our focus is the very finest needlework available, and each issue features smocking (including a new graph available only in CN with complete instructions), embroidery designs suitable for babies and children's clothes as well as gift projects, and the latest machine techniques.

Favorite techniques include hand embroidery (shadow work, Madeira appliqué, and pinstitch are just a few), heirloom sewing by hand, and machine embroidery.
